1. Scope and roles
This notice explains how the Goeze app for iPhone handles personal data. The app is used by employees of grocery stores that use the Goeze system; accounts are issued by the employer. It has two parts: Butiksappen, the store's handheld for receiving deliveries, stock, orders and labels, and Personalappen, the employee's own app for the schedule, clock-in, tasks, approvals and chat.
The data controller is your employer, the store company named in your employment agreement, which uses Goeze under a customer agreement. GZEL GRUP TEKNOLOJI GIDA SANAYI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI ("Goeze") provides the app and the system and processes personal data on the employer's behalf as a processor. The public website has its own notice: Website privacy.
2. Information in the app
- Account and identity: name, role, department, store and employer, contact details you keep in Min profil, an optional profile photo, and the personal code you sign in with.
- Schedule and time: shifts, clock-in and clock-out events, breaks, absences, leave requests and shift swaps.
- Tasks and messages: tasks and routines with their status, photos you attach, chat messages, notices on the notice board, suggestions and approvals.
- Store operations (Butiksappen): deliveries, counts, deviations, orders, labels and price work, with who did what and when.
The app never asks for criminal-record information. Payroll details are handled in the employer's Goeze system, not in the app.
3. Device features and permissions
- Location is read only when you clock in, to confirm that you are in the store. The app keeps "in the store: yes or no" and an approximate distance, never your position, and the store's Wi-Fi can serve as the check instead.
- Camera scans barcodes and takes photos of delivery notes, labels, products and task results, and a profile photo if you choose. The photo library is used only when you pick an existing photo.
- Bluetooth and the local network connect to the store's label printers.
iOS asks for each permission before first use; you can withdraw any of them in Settings, and the related function then stays unavailable.
4. Where data is kept
In the current version all data stays on your phone, in the app's own storage. The app does not send data to Goeze or to third parties, uses no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services, and has no account creation or purchases.
When the app is connected to your employer's Goeze system, the data in section 2 is synchronised with that system under the employer's agreement, and this notice is updated before that happens.
5. Purposes and legal basis
- Administering the employment, the schedule and working time — performance of the employment agreement.
- Meeting legal obligations such as bookkeeping, tax reporting and labour law.
- Operating and securing the Goeze system — the employer's legitimate interest.
6. Retention
Data is kept for the duration of the employment. After it ends, the account is removed within 12 months; records that bookkeeping and tax law require are kept for the statutory period, in Sweden seven years. Data stored only on the phone disappears when the app is deleted.
8. Your rights
You can ask the employer for access to your data, for correction or erasure of data that is no longer needed, for restriction of processing and for a copy of your data. You can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or to the supervisory authority where you live.
9. Changes to this notice
This notice is updated when the app or the applicable requirements change; material changes are announced in the app. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised.
10. Contact
Questions about your personal data go to your employer, using the contact in your employment agreement. For questions about the app or this notice, contact:
